Tence is a Nottingham-born UK rap artist building something real in the East Midlands. His sound moves across rap, garage, drum & bass, and club music — not because it's a strategy, but because that's what the city sounds like.

Backed by the Elementz Studios production crew and a growing network of East Midlands collaborators, Tence represents a scene as much as a solo act. He worked closely with Vince Frank on production, and Matt Cosway has mixed and mastered the majority of his tracks.

Alongside that collaborative network, Tence has also produced many of his own tracks himself — a hands-on approach that runs through much of his catalogue.

Covered by The Boogie Report, British Hip Hop, Vocal Media and more — the recognition is catching up with the output. Beyond his own releases, Tence is available to book for live shows and gigs, and sells original production beats to other artists.
